MIRI CITY IN SARAWAK

Miri sits in the heart of Malaysia's proactive oil and gas centre. It is surrounded by Brunei, Indonesia and other hydrocarbon producing countries. In its vicinity are one of the world's largest gas liquefication plants, major oil and gas fields and several free trade zones.
Because of its attractive location, Malaysia's national oil company, Petronas, Nippon Gas and Shell Asia Pacific Exploration & Production chose to set up their regional offices here.
East Malaysia is a major oil & gas producer. Malaysia is the second largest producer in the region. Together with Indonesia they make up the biggest producers in Southeast Asia
